Washington D.C. Participates in Face of America

Last weekend, Insight Global’s Washington D.C. office attended the “Face of America” charity event, hosted by World T.E.A.M. Sports to support and honor veteran and active-duty participants with injuries ranging from amputation, paralysis, blindness, and post-traumatic stress disorder. The veterans participated in a 110-mile bike ride from Arlington, Va. To Gettysburg, Pa., while the 25 Insight Global team members cheered them on. As an office, Insight Global D.C. raised $1,696.00, which will support veterans and active-duty participants with disabilities to partake in future opportunities for military and civilian athletes with World T.E.A.M. Sports at no cost to the participants. “We showed up at the front of the line, with two legs and two arms to cheer on vets that have lost multiple limbs,” Tessa Boyd, Account Manager. “We don’t always recognize how much we have to be thankful for, and it’s a truly humbling experience. The best part of the event was getting to send the riders off and cheering them on as they rode!”
