San Francisco Walks for Breast Cancer

The San Francisco office recently attended the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk for the American Cancer Society. These events are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation. Walk participants raise funds to help the American Cancer Society fund innovative research, provide free information and support to anyone touched by breast cancer, and help people reduce their breast cancer risk or find it during early stages when it is most treatable. The event was a 5K walk around Heather Farms Park in Walnut Creek, Calif., and there were 20 members of the Insight Global team that participated. The American Cancer Society is a leader in the fight against breast cancer, and the San Francisco office helped raise $1,760 for the organization. “We came together this past weekend to participate in this wonderful event,” said Lead Recruiter Koryna Zendejas. “It was a beautiful day and we were able to join the local community to show our support for those who have been impacted by breast cancer. There were many survivors who walked, as well as families who lost loved ones. We felt very happy to contribute and participate in this powerful event.”
